HARTFORD L POLYESTER OUTWELL TENT :

A size down from sister model XL, the Hartford L neverthless sleeps up to six and keeps its two pre-attached bedrooms to either sode of the spacious living room area with Sealed-in Groundsheet. It also benedits from the Panorama Front upgrade for 2012, which really does open up the whole interior. As well as its allround windows allowing great view out, the Hartford L comes with a rear door with side flaps creating a canopy. Other key Hartford features range from Outtex 4000 fabric to Duratec Poles to Skylight Window overhead, and include a wealth of the usual Outwell favourites: OWS ( Outwell Wind Stabilizer System), OEP System (Outwell Easy Pegging System), pre-attached Luminous Guylines, and more, not forgetting Carpet and Footprint options.

  • Hydrostatic Head 4000 mm: Shows the amount of water on 1cm2 before the water penetrates the coating.
  • Special use of three different colour-coded types of pegs ensures easy and stable pitching of the tent. The peg is different depending on the job required for it : Quality grey anchor steel pegs for all four corners, luminous plastic pegs for the luminous guylines and black heavy-duty plastic pegs at the side pegging points.
  • Curtains with conveniently located fixings at each window, letting in as much, or as little, daylight, as required.
  • Wind Stabilizer System uses a strong Velcro fastening system as a direct attachment point for the flysheet and tent pole. An effective system which keeps the whole tent stable whatever the weather. As measured on the Beaufort Wind Scale Force 9 is the equivalent to a strong gale with wind speeds of 47-54mph that will blow branches off trees.
