VSS means Variable Sleeping System.
The VSS concept is elegant in its simplicity, why have a sleeping bag for each season ?
Instead have sleeping bags that combine and fit inside another. Use individual bags on their own or in combination, you can adjust your sleeping system to suit yourself and the time of year without having to buy a whole new sleeping bag. The reason is a five season sleeping system rated down to - 20° C that packs down to a convenient size and even includes a pillow ! Thermalin filling used in the whole range dries more quickly than down but is just as worm, it is also wind resistant and highly breathable while compressing just as well as an other man made materials.
